mickey mouse cup

Mon Feb 18, 2013 12:44 pm

Laudrup has just stated, that the 'Mickey Mouse' Cup Final next Sunday is the biggest game in the jacks history. What will those people down west think of that? I'm sure I read somewhere that they weren't too impressed with our visit to Wembley last year.

Oh well lets not worry too much what they think!!!

Let's just focus on Cardiff's promotion ambitions.

There's an important game for the Bluebirds tomorrow, remember? :D

They even rested a few players yesterday for their visit to Mickey.

The irony oh the irony.

I don't remember many of our fans calling it a Mickey Mouse cup last year, from the Blackburn game onwards.

No problem hating on the Jacks, but lets not turn into hypocrites.

I can't be arsed to look, but I remember posting on here last year that it wasn't a mickey mouse cup, and that you lot should be proud to have made the final...

Yes scotsjack, you did say that, but there were many other gypos coming on here at the time we reached the final stating that it's a nothing cup, nobody is interested in it outside Cardiff and Liverpool, they would'nt bother to watch the game etc, it's funny that a year on, their opinions have changed.

In fairness, I can't imagine that our game against Bradford is making too many waves outside of our two teams. It'll be a great occasion and I'm looking forward to it, but it doesn't compare with the games against Hull in 2003 and Reading in the play-off final. I'm relaxed about Sunday and looking forward to enjoying the day.

Oh no, we're going to have a St.Georges cross next to our name for our European matches :crybaby:

If we enter English competitions, and the English FA are going to enter us into Europe as their representatives then so be it. Or shall we all just pack up and join the league of Wales :dontknow:

I hate to say it, but when Swansea are in Europe next year ,they will not give a shit if its for the FAW or the Fa they represent , as far as they will be concerned they will be in Europe for Swansea, as would we be for Cardiff if we got back into Europe
