in Ninian stand 118/117/116. There was no steward intervention and there was no noaning bastards telling people to sit down after 10 minutes. So two things here, how come the club/stewards just switch on and off the safety issues as a reason to stop standing in these areas when they feel like it. It is either a safety isssue or not. Clearly as this was non-existent yesterday, it is not a safety issue. By the way, I applaud the club if they relax their stance and allow common sense to prevail and let the supporters stand as they clearely want to.
The second point, is that the supporters themselves who usually moan about people standing in front and around them, didn't yesterday! So why was this? perhaps someone who usually has a moan, can tell us why they didn't, I suspect the reason was that, like everyone they considered it a pivotal game against local rivals and let it go. However, it goes to show that all these arguments they put forward that they have paid for a seat, so want to sit, or can't stand all game are bollocks

and really they just want to have their little moan about something, because they can.
I should add a moan of my own and that is about the atmosphere. As already said, we were all stood up yesterday and Bristol had a good crowd who sung for 70% of the game, were loud and therefore we should have been singing especially in the Ninian all game, but quite simply we didn't! I look at the crowd around me and there's all sorts, but the large majority are guys in their 20s to 40s, so you would think having grown up with supporting Cardiff, theyshould know the crack about passionate support. So I cannot understand, why when a chant starts, most don't want to get involved? I, personally can't help myself

it's just the automtic thing to do, isn't it? What will it take to get people going? do they need a drum? or band? We have used the seated excuse many times, this was banished yesterday, so can't be used anymore. I really am at a loss to come up with a recipe to get the chanting going continously in this section.

Any ideas??
