People wonder why active footballers do not come out, as a previous poster said "Such a non Story" yet it's the headline lead on SSN.
Could you imagine if an active England International came out?
It would be headline news on all channels .
He would become part of a media frenzie, his career would be over and personal life never the same.
But why? Men come out of the closet on a daily basis to family and friends, but because he plays football it's deemed socially unacceptable.
I am not homophobic, I have many friends (Men and Women) who are gay, and what they do in their own bedroom is their own buisness.My former boss was a gay man and to date was the best boss I have ever worked under.
As for the USA soccer player who has came out, I commend his actions and hope there aren't any comebacks on his personal life becuase they can be a funny bunch them yanks.
