I know there has been a lot of threads on the scarves but people on here saying they're going to throw the scarves on the pitch?

How stupid.

That would just be like the 0-3 loss to Reading when people threw those paper things on the pitch.

Spot on. Childish to throw them on the pitch. Just bin them if you don't want them.

Give them to charity or something if you don't want them.

Exactly.

Throwing them on the pitch would do nothing at all other than make the people doing it look stupid.

Re: Tuesday

I'd be embarassed if fans did chuck them on the pitch.

Re: Tuesday

Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:43 pm

And I would.

It was bad enough against Reading but this would be even worse.

Re: Tuesday

I think a lot of scarves will be thrown on the pitch, just hope it is at the end after supporting the team, and then people can demonstrate their views :ayatollah:

Re: Tuesday

why would you be embarrassed?

It's idiotic.

Why throw scarves onto the pitch?

As Dando said you don't have to even take one or if you do just put it in the bin if you don't want it. It's not like VT will give a f**k if you throw them on the pitch is it? As in he isn't going to see it as the fans showing how they feel.

Re: Tuesday

I'd love it if the ones who throw scarves onto the pitch thinking they are clever get banned

Re: Tuesday

So to recap your posts - if fans do something you dont agree with and get banned it makes you laugh and feel emabbarrassed ie ashamed. f**k me, this club has changed beyond all recognition

I'm guessing you'd be one of the ones to do it then.

What would they achieve by doing it? Do you expect by doing it VT is suddenly going to realise fans don't like red and is going to change us back to blue?

F*cking hell, if you don't want the scarves don't take them. Simple as.

Against the law to throw something towards the pitch surely?

Re: Tuesday

Fri Feb 15, 2013 11:21 pm

ill be throwing mine to whoever's 10ft in front of me

shuv your embarrassment up your ass

Re: Tuesday

Fri Feb 15, 2013 11:21 pm

Yes Jinks its against thelaw to throw a soft fabric on a pitch. youre quite right.

As for me, I honestly dont know what Im going to do. Tbh ill prob take it cos its free, never wear it cos i dont wear scarves and hate the red rebrand with a passion. Itll prob stay in the back of a drawer never to see the light of day. But if any fellow city fan feels strongly enough to launch it on the pitch I dont want them banned simply for expressing thier view. Unless Jinks thinks its danegrous of course. Could have someones eye out

Probably won't even make the pitch. :laughing6:

Re: Tuesday

I wouldn't throw a scarf in our current stadium. If it hits someone in the back of the head they will probably sue you.

'elf and safety everywhere down there these days.

Well i'd laugh if they were banned after doing it... Where did i say it's dangerous? All i said was i'm sure its against the law or stadium regulations to throw anything onto the pitch.
i dont care if people do it as it wont bother me but i'd laugh like f**k if they got banned for doing it

Throw it on the pitch and just embarass yourself. Its just craving attention and throwing it on the pitch will just make us look like an embarassment almost as childish as protests you won't achieve nothing with it. How old are you 4? Get a grip you idiot.

Re: Tuesday

Sat Feb 16, 2013 5:02 am

Dando I said mine would be put in a drawer so dont understand why im childish. I just dont see why any of you are embarrassed and so concerned with the stadium regs.If Taffyapple is to be believed it has changed soemthing with Tan rethink.

 i dont get why he would feel embarrassed if someone else chucked the scarf on the pitch, the guys a panzie

Re: Tuesday

We are playing Brighton on Tuesday night and not Vincent Tan - we need 3 points ffs - to get 3 points the players will need the 100% support of us fans and not the diversion of any of us throwing the red scarves onto the pitch at any time.

If you hate the rebranding and I do with a vengeance, then do as I intend to do and don't pick up a red scarf in the first place. I have supported Cardiff City for 44 years and I have always had 2 lifelong ambitions in football - City to be in the top level of English Football and Wales to qualify for a World Cup. The first is now really on the cards and I won't do anything to jeopardise that in the least and that includes taking the chance that my throwing a red scarf on the pitch would in any way affect a player's performance mentally - I would never buy a red scarf so why would I take one for free.

We need to wake up and smell the coffee beans ffs - just support the City 100%, wear your blue shirt and scarf like I will and f#*k the colour of some scarf being given to who wants to take one!!
