Taffyapples recent post suggested a meeting is on the cards. I have no reason to doubt the post and i accept he is one of the more sensible posters. But one comment in his post intrugued me.
The red scarf bollocks was decided some time ago by all accounts and WILL go ahead but he was told that many supporters might not take up the red scarves and will insist on waving blue ones. Apparently this shocked Tan. He thought all was rosy
in the garden.
How could Tan not know of the division amongst the fans and the fact that many of us hate the re-brand. Surely he has advisors. I just dont understand how could he not know

Just wear a blue scarf simples... Then burn the red one and throw it on the pitch..

my point is whatever your view on the rebrand (i hate it), how could he not know it was still an issue for many of us. Even if he is stubbornly ignoring us, he must know a lot of us dont accept it.

Let's just get in the prem then see what happens, if it all gets too much at least we will have some financial stability.. If it all goes red and stupid I think i will give the home games a miss and do a few away and wales away.. I will sell my seats online...

You are in a tiny minority, the vast majority will accept the scarf, I find this whole subject really boring and childish, why can't supporters just concentrate on giving their support to V T who is doing his best to get us to the P L,

Of course he knows our feelings. steve Borley would have told him when it was first muted. The problem is every member of staff know the depth of feeling but are shit scared of loosing their jobs they have said nothing and personally I don't blame them.
Its up to the board members to voice their concerns and they have not passed this on to Mr. Tan.

i dont care if im in the minority or who accepts the scarf. If you find this subject boring and childish why open the thread or take the time to reply. I repeat - my point is merely how come Tan doesnt know of the strength of feeling amongst some of us

VT most prob does know the strength of feeling amongst some Cardiff fans, but lets be honest if you look where we are in the league and the amount of money he has put into the club why would he give a Feck about any of our feelings

if you read taffyapples posts he has had some sort of road to damascus conversion and now cares what we think. I dont understand why he suddenly gives a f**k. The premise that he simply didnt realise some of us felt this way is almost beyond belief

NOPE. I think some people have VASTLY overestimated that power two messageboards have.
The fan base as a whole has accepted the red, there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever
to suggest otherwise. Half a messageboard typing how upset they are does not a protest make!!
I dont think he 'cares' what we think per se, I think he wants to maximise our revenue streams and
perhaps has just had it pointed out to him that there would be more money changing hands if he
compromises on the kit for next season. Thats me being cynical, but if thats what it takes then I'm
all for it

i see your point but why now, the most pissed off have left and the rest of us are in support, ambivalent or reluctant acceptors. If this scarf give away has had the effect of the penny dropping at least its got a positive side!
