Blackburn have signed David Bentley from spurs
Fair play that's a quality signing will be awesome in the championship I think they might be the team to make a late run they seem to be sneaking up

I was thinking the same. They had a good squad already but the addition of Bentley and Campbell may put them in contention if they hit a good run. It's perhaps too late for them to catch us (we're 20 points clear of them) but I wouldn't be surprised to seem them sneak 2nd place or go up via the playoffs.

I agree I don't think they have a chance of catching us but second could be possible only a twelve point gap plus only 5 off play offs , with everybody in the top 6 playing each other they could sneak it if they have a run of. 4/5 wins in a row

Blackburn have also signed Man City defender Karim Rekik on loan until the end of the season.

Promising youngster who can play at CB or LB. Would have been perfect for the City squad.

They're due to play both Hull and Leicester this month, hopefully they can get 6 points from these two!!!

He is a very good player if he can be bothered.
Hasn't played a lot of games in the last 4 years or so tho.

I remember the potential this lad had. Looked set for the top now he never even plays

Only played 5 games for West Ham before he got injured and returned to spurs and he didn't play again last season. Got loaned out to a Russian club this season where he played a handful of games before getting injured and returning to spurs.

A good player no doubt about that bur it's years since he played more than a handful of games. Will it be any different at Blackburn

i think he is way over rated!! was very good at blackburn the first time and done ok at tottenham at has flopped since then didnt do nothing at west ham or birmingham really maybe he just needs a kick up the backside but i wouldnt put him in the team over any of our players!

his career has stagnated since he went to spurs 5 years back - i may be in a minority here but i cant see him pulling up any trees at blackburn, he doesnt seem to have any fight in him and i wouldnt want him at CCFC.

he's played for west ham and birmingham on loan, both were battling relegation when he was there, and didnt make much of a contribution, he is not the player he was under sparky.

He's always struck me as the type of fella who spends more time in-front of the mirror than anything else. He's such a ponce these days, defiantly believed his own hype when he got his move to Spurs. If he put his head down he's still more than capable of playing in the PL, he may not have the pace but he's technically a very good winger.

I hope they have a very good February.

They have the strongest squad in the league,

with rhodes hitting top form and quality in depth, midfield and up front I would tip them to win the play off's

If we were ten points clear of Blackburn I'd be nervous

But we'd have to lose SEVEN games for them to overtake us, that would be a
more catastrophic collapse than the septum cartilage in Kerry Katona's nose!!!

Yes the finally seem to be putting it together. Mainly thanks to Rhodes but they will never catch us now for reasons uouve already posted.

i'd say he's easily got the talent, his problem is his attitude and lack of dedication since he left blackburn
