FOOD AT CCS Freedom of choice

Fri Feb 15, 2013 11:32 am

This is a rant. A couple of games ago I decided at half time to get something to eat, I begrudge paying4 quid for a scabby horse burger,so I decided to go to KFC.when i got there,2 ccfc stewards stopped me from going in.they said if I went in I would be refused admission back into the ground. I stomped off and went to the chief steward, who tried to tell me that it was a smoke break only and at arsenal they don't let them out. I said I don't smoke ,who cared about f****** arsenal where is freedom of choice. He said you shouldnt go out if you don't smoke, well why are they selling burgers outside then? And to cap it all off the only reason they stopped me buying food from KFC was to protect food outlets in the ground THEY DON'T BELONG TO CCFC they sold them off. This is totally against human rights . The outlets won't get one more penny of me again

It has been like that since the stadium opened mate .
I saw a steward once take a happy meal off a child as he went through the turnstile because he wasn't allowed to eat his chicken nuggets in the ground it's pathetic to be honest that kid cried his eyes out
As for not being allowed out if you don't smoke that's bollocks I have mates that don't smoke but come out every half time to be sociable and stay as a group .
KFC is not on there property so can't stop you going there when you want tell them to f**k off then after eating walk back to the ground . :ayatollah:

We havent played at home for a month, you've kept this rage bottled well for quite some time.
A game is only an hour and a half, incl. half time and a beer in the concourse before the game and you're only in the stadium for 2 hours... just eat before you go in.

Before the game I've had no problem taking my KFC into the stadium? Must be a new thing because I've seen plenty of rubbish with McDonalds etc when walking out of the ground?

They threatened to ban me and skunky last if we went inside KFC.
We did anyway he got a lovely family sized box.
The stewards then stopped us and tried to restrain us take out season ticket of us and threatened us with an immediate ban.
We just walked back in,
Police then got called up to us and when we told them the situation they laughed.
Skunky then spent the second half throwing chicken legs at the stewards

I question this policy and sort legal advice on it using the Goods Act whatever year it was written.

Basically an organisation can refuse you entry to their premises. If they have taken money off you then you have the right to claim it back. So there you go.

It's ridiculous that they don't let fans back in if they go out to get food from somewhere which is on the site of the stadium. Food prices in the stadium are way over the top.

Stewards in our stadium are power crazy, they think they can do what they want. When people stand up to them they back off.
