IPHONE HELP

my iphone wont load wifi
the wify partt is greyed out and wont let me turn it on or off
any advice on this or anyone had this issue before

Had a quick look online for you, sounds like a hardware issue, I base that on other people's online complaints, go down to the apple store in Cardiff and ask the staff on the Genius counter, with luck they will replace your handset (back it up ASAP)

when you say replace would it be an issue that it was a contract phone and i defaulted (settled now mind(

I've never taken a phone back so I'm not sure, It would have to be within the manufactures warranty period obviously

Have you tried the obvious things like backing up then doing a restore. Do you have the latest iOS because there are lots of bugs in some of the older ones.

That happened to my mates iPhone ,(RIP Dave) the iPhone blew up in his pocket

Go into settings / network

Scroll down till you see reset all network settings
(Do not reset/restore iPhone ever from the handset alone it usually bricks the phone!!)

Hit the reset networks tab and wait.

Now reboot the phone.

If that doesn't fix it, make an appointment online with apples genius section, and take it back. Regardless of your payment
Status with your contract, if the phone is less than 12 months old, they will replace any faulty handset.
