Bale Madrid

£38m that's what they have reportedly bid?

Personally if i was Spurs I would tell them to double that ... Then reject it.

The boy has still loads more to learn, but he still dictates the game for his club and country.

If he was already at a Championship winning club then the offers would be closer to £70-80m starting bid.

He has said he enjoys Tottenham and has no desire to leave, so that in it self strengthens Levy's grip on him.

Also when you consider Levy managed to talk Sir Alex to part with £30m for Berbatov, then should they decide to sell, I can see him going for TOP DOLLAR!!

I'd say IF he goes, it'd be for around £65 - £70+ mil.

I reckon he'll go in the summer.I know he's a loyal lad but if Spurs miss out on a Champions League place i think there'll be scramble for him.Man City will spend big and maybe Chelsea but i really hope he goes to Spain.

They won't let him go to another PL team.

He may feel his reputation as a 'diver' is a reason to move, but, if he did move to Spain, in a league with the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao etc. he would not be as much of a stand out player and he'd have to accept that.

What's a 5% sell on clause on £80million? That could buy us a Charlie Austin. ;)

Maybe. But if Man City bid 80 million for him they'd sell.

Why would we get a sell on clause?

Southampton might have one...but us?

Are you confused when people say "He's from Cardiff"?

I honestly can't see him going abroad. He's always back and forth London visiting his mrs and now he has a kid i can't see him leaving them. Maybe a move to whoever throws him enough money

I think he should go to manure, British players don't tend to do well in Spain.

I gather it's a meme from CCMB.

It is.

Sorry guys thought it may have been a renowned message board faux pas. A poster on CCMB thought he was ours and there would be a massive sell on clause for us when he went to Spurs.

It's not as funny when you have to explain it. :D

If the price is right, I can see him going to Man Utd.

Re: Bale Madrid

I'm torn on Bale.

I want him to go to Madrid as they're only behind Barca in terms of world powerhouses of football and he would fit so well into their play.

On the other hand it would be a shame for English football to lose such a top quality player so in that respect I'd want him to go to man u, but I don;t really feel the current Man U team is good enough for him. I also doubt they can afford him.

Coming home to Cardiff City.

As soon as Vincent adds a Chinese zillionaire to the board.

They want let players go to another Prem team.. they had 6 offers from clubs for Rafael Van Der Vaart but accepted a lower offer from Hamburg.

Bale moves then he will be there for the long run and 50-65 million is worth it..

But then again if Spurs make the Champions League and win a cup in the next 2 seasons then he don't have to move.
