depends what you consider decent money, you start at band 5 so thats 21,000 a year working up to 35,000.

My son doing a course in Bristol Uni in September, 2 years. Im just hoping it'll be
worth it if he DOES decide to stay in Britain afterwards!!

my mate is a paramedic and he loves it, but he was a combat medic in the army but I dont know many people who get really excited everyday before they go to work.

my mate is a paramedic and he loves it, but he was a combat medic in the army but I dont know many people who get really excited everyday before they go to work.


My one was a combat medic too, so the 'practical' side of it is something he's dealt with
quite a bit already (sadly).. Academically though he is not experienced so that side of it
will be tough. But £35,000 is a half-decent wedge in anyones book. I dont want him to
emigrate :lol: But then again, this country is such a shit-tip nowadays he's probably
better off going somewhere else :evil:

Well if hes got experience I would say he would be fine. If hes worried about the academic side treat it like he was back in the military, his practical knowledge will far out weigh anybody else on the course so find some academically minded twonk who can drag him through that and he can trade his practical knowledge in return.
