In Queen Street Cardiff.
My 14 yr old boy (who's a season ticket holder too) was so chuffed last week after I bought him a new bike (£500)
1st day of the half term school holidays today him and is two friends rode all the way from Tylorstown down to Cardiff, he locked it up outside burger king and when he came out some b*stard had stolen it.
He's totally gutted, Police can see it being taken on cctv by two males but cant identify them, so its long gone now.
I know its a long shot but if anyone hears of one being sold about the place then please pm me.
Its a Vodoo Hoodoo make (maroon red)

It is sickening yes. The thought of those bastards riding it around laughing about it makes me even more angry, they'll probably sell it on for next to nothing. If only I knew who they were!!!!
They probably sleep well tonight unlike my boy who is so upset.

Keep a look out on websites like Ebay and Gumtree. You never know, they are obviously thick, so they may put it for sale on there. I've heard about that type of thing happening before.

They won't be riding it around SC, that'll be in the back of a van on the way to Europe. There was a huge problem in Denmark last year, or maybe the year before, with organised petty crims stealing expensive bikes then transporting them to Lithuania I think, could be wrong on the country, for what reason I know not. No idea what happens to them maybe ringed and then brought back to UK? Danish coppers after a crack down caught quite a few but they were only the petty crims that do the stealing don't think they got the organisers.

According to the police they could see 2 guys sussing it out, one was on an 'oldish' bike, they had tracksuits on and had their faces turned away from cctv, 2 mintutes later they returned and stole it. Then a few minutes later my boy appears on camera. By then they had long gone. They think they are probably local and they have done it before.

What lock was on the bike? when you pay that amount for a bike then always a good idea to pay top whack on a lock. Probably opportunist thieves walking around town looking for decent bikes with weak locks on them. If it was a decent lock, then maybe a good idea to go back to where you bought the lock and explain to them what happened, they may reimburse you the money for the bike rather than have bad publicity. Good locks usually come with some kind of garentee

Unfortunately these scumbags operate when it's school holidays, i recently got robbed in Oxford Street London in Mcdonalds & when it was played back on CCTV it was a middle aged man & the way he took the bags from under me & my son's feet was unbelievable, we had a mirror facing us so we could see anyone behind us & he still managed to take all contents without us seeing him,the guy was brilliant at it & unfortunately ever since the EU doors were opened there's been a flood of profesional thieves coming in.Would'nt be surprised if it was older guy's that they knew what they were looking out for, fooking scum.
