In the Tokyo Dome,Japan, James Buster Douglas climbed off the canvas to defy the odds and end Iron Mike Tyson's Reign of Destruction in the Heavyweight division. Possibly the biggest shock in a heavyweight title fight since Ali beat Foreman in Ziare.
Such a shame that Neither fighter could go on to better things though.
Mike Lost his battle with his inner demons and although he reclaimed the title many years later this was not the same man.
Whilst Buster struggled with the hype of that one night in Tokyo. Despite a troubled life in and out of the ring his crowning glory just short of his 30th birthday proved to much. He lost the undisputed championship 8 months later in his first defence against Evander Holyfield.

I was 10 years old .. I remember it like it was 4-5 years ago.

He was bad alright..
But a seriously flawed character in and out of the ring.
I don't rate highly amongst other heavyweights if I'm honest .
