Will i notice the difference

Mon Feb 11, 2013 7:12 pm

Wurzel in peace ( if theres any such thing ) being told by many of my welsh ( cough cough ) friends on here that a cardiff match day experiance is massive difference to the days of ninian park , pubs a little more welcoming ( well some of them ) not as hostile around the ground and no piss chucked at you throughout the game , also much less aggression after the game when many a time the car park outside the away end made afghanistan seem like a holiday park , looking forward to see if there is any real difference, last time i was at a cardiff / bristol city game over there i seem to remember a certain mr scott murry running down the bob bank hand up to his ear through the grange end up penarth road onto the M4 and back to brizzell , priceless , to all the young cardiff lads on here if you dont know what im on about ask your elders ,

I remember that celebration well, I was on the touch line! I though what a cocky c**t. Went to watch City @ Reading when on the walk in toward the stadium he popped up next to me in his match day suit! Thought I'd give him a bit of my hardest banter but he was a top bloke, nice as pie, laughing and joking and loved the Welsh. Did really well for you, went back again didn't he?

You'll be disappointed if you're coming on Saturday expecting the same matchday experience as Ninian Park.

That's Scary!! I saw him outside the MadStad in a grey suit also.. Reading V Cardiff.
I told him he was a great player and would be a welcomed addition to our squad, his reply was something like, "You have great supporters and passion, but as Bristol are such an important club to me I could never cross the bridge for a home game".

I said then you'd better not tear us a new arsehole tonight or il be waiting for you outside.
He laughed and patted me on the shoulder..

Sound guy to be fair..

No its still the same. With 15 mins of the game to go all of our lot will come out of Woodies in their finest gear, get a lift up to the stadium from bethmattsgrampy and run at you like something out of the 300.

You will notice the difference, wurzel red - we all have. That time with Murray, I think we lost 3-1 and Alan Cork was our manager. We had Dean Gordon on loan and he was well past his sell by date. He wasn't subbed until it was too late and I was near the dugout and having a right go at Cork.

We owe you for the defeat in August (4-2 and I was there), so enjoy your day out in peace and watch us wave goodbye to you, as we are finally on the way up.

I think most city fans will admit while our away support has been excellent at times at home its been terrible, especially when away fans are small in number
Hopefully with bristol selling out their allocation it will light the atmosphere up.Looking forward to the game and to the OP ,yes you will have no problems whatsoever in and around the stadium
