Campbell's movement

Sun Feb 10, 2013 9:49 pm

Yesterday was my first look at Campbell as I didn't go to Leeds. As soon as he came on I was blown away with his off the ball movement. He was pulling the defenders all over the place, the defenders didn't know whether he was going to drop deep or make a run to latch onto a through ball. I have never seen a striker in a City shirt as good as Campbell with his off the ball movement and at this level, defenders simply won't be able to live with him. I am very excited to see more of Campbell using his off the ball movement to lose defenders and get into dangerous spaces to score goals.

Agreed.

The way he drags defenders from side to side is frightening.

Looks like a striker we've been needing for ages, Maynard looked the guy and unfortunately had an injury but Campbell could be the best replacement for him(Not that Maynard is leaving) all he needs is more game time and a good striker with a good understanding, then we can blow away the Championship and win it ASAP
