" Cardiff as good as gone "
They don't think we will be caught now, forget about Cardiff, the fight for second place is all that's left for the chasing pack. (And then playoff places of course ).

Opinions please, do you think we can still be caught ? Mathematically we can be, but do you think we will be caught ?

I honestly don't think we will be caught.

But I won't say we are up until I see Hudson lift that trophy! :ayatollah: :malky:

Still well early.

What I have noticed though are the teams chasing us are starting to bottle it. Watford Friday night losing a 3 goal lead, Leicester rode their luck in their last 2 home games and had a wakeup call today by losing after going one up. Middlesborough have lost their last 5 with Hull failing to capitalise tonight. Palace fair enough did well to comeback at Watford.

I just feel the chasing pack are feeling the pressure a lot more than us. It is them bottling it.

Bluebirds are going up, we know you'll never believe us. :ayatollah:

It seems that it would be harder to lose it than win it from this position.

It ain't over yet, despite our lead

Watford, Leicester, Palace and Hull will push eachother very hard and by extension get good points totals.

But things do keep going our way, like yesterday when people thought we dropped points, we still gained points.

All the hard work has been done and we've got ourselves a healthy lead, but more importantly we've got a manager who won't let the players become complacent and sit on their laurels. If we'd had this 11 point lead under Jonesy I would be slightly concerned as to whether we would be able to see the job through. It would be a cock up of major proportions if we were caught and passed by 2 of the chasing pack, I think we're on our way to the Prem and hopefully as champs cos if we do balls it up we'll be chumps not champs.

We've only played 7 teams twice and of those only palace (5th) Leeds (11th) and Millwall (12th) in the top half of the table. So plenty of really tough games to go and teams like Leicester, Watford and Hull are more than capable of going on long unbeaten runs. Reading took 38 from the last 48 points on offer and who saw that coming? The Saints took 33. Apply that to this season and that would give some teams 91 points or even 86 based on the saints. Therefore at least 8 wins and a draw or two for us to be certain but nobody is going to roll over for us. Long long way to go :malky:

Still 48 (i think) points to play for. Not a done deal yet.

The Biggest test will be our next defeat.

The game after that will determine our season, if we respond with a win then its in the bag IMO. But I feel if we have two back to back defeats then doubts will surface and the club will have to show its true grit.

Either way the season is entering its home straight and whether we do it or we fail again, no one can deny this is by FAR, our most interesting season in the History of our club.
