Anyone else there there that game ? I went up as it was the opening season of their new stadium and compared tO Ninian Park at the time was a space age stadium the total opposite to our beloved Ninian, the prospect of a pint in the concorse and toilets with roofs on > RE Huddersfield this is taken from their site for that season 94/95

Huddersfield Town's 1994-95 campaign was Town's first season in their new stadium, the Alfred McAlpine Stadium. After playing at Leeds Road for 86 years, Town moved to the new stadium with a then capacity of around 20,000. Under the leadership of Neil Warnock, Town finished in 5th place, but after qualifying for the play-offs, Town beat 2nd placed Brentford, they beat 4th placed Bristol Rovers at Wembley Stadium.

The town went on to smash us 5-1 and I remember that season we were utter beep !! we went on that year to finish in a relegation spot and I remember travelling being happy if we scored a goal let alone won a match. Heres some info on us for the same season

The 1994-95 season was Cardiff City F.C.'s 68th season in the Football League. They competed in the 24-team Division Two, then the third tier of English football, finishing twenty-second, suffering relegation to Division Three.

After three months of the season, manager Eddie May was sacked from his position and replaced by Terry Yorath. However Yorath's spell in charge saw the side plummet to the bottom of the table and Yorath was also sacked and remarkably replaced by the man he took over from in Eddie May.

Terry Yorath was a joke in his spell with the club as bad as that Liverpool great Phil Neal he didnt do anything for us either below is the squad we had that season
