3 "customer services"

Anyone had troubles with this shower of shit?

Turns out that a contract that should have been cancelled over a year ago wasn't and after closing a UK bank account towards the end of last year my shortly to be ex-wife is getting hassled by 3 for money. Four or five phone calls a day to the answerphone.

I've contacted so called customer services twice to get this sorted which after the usual number check, etc ask me my postcode. I give UK postcode, nope they say that's not it, Eh? I know where my house is, ah, perhaps it's the old one, give them that, nope that's not it. OK, you've somehow got the wrong postcode for me then, you'd better correct it. Nope if you can't give your postcode I cannot discuss the account and they put the phone down....

On Wednesday, wifey gets fed up (surprised it's taken this long!!!) and gives them both barrels. Next phone call from them has a new number to call so she sends me number and asks to sort.

I phone new number (turns out it goes to the same shower of shite as the usual one) the same thing happens, postcode!!!

In essence they have the incorrect postcode for my address but won't discuss correcting it as I can't tell them what they've got on their system, what do think I am a feckin mind reader?

Customer service my arse, to me it looks as though they've rounded up the most stupid people in the entire world and given them jobs as customer service reps...

Just drop them a line saying that they have got the wrong postcode and give them your proper one :thumbup:

They are terrible ,took out two six month contracts when they were doing them ,went to change to orange after about 15 months they said you cant cos you got 18 month contract ,went to the shop where we took out contract with the paper work showing "6 month contract on it "fair do the guy in the shop faxed off the info ,but no matter what we did they would not sort it out , didnt want to cancel payments cos had in back of my mind that if we went to someone else it would show up as we defaulted on payments then that would have caused problems ,and if you ring customer services you go through to india and ,no offence but you cant understand a word they are saying ,there deals look great and network is ok but soon as you want something sorted out a nightmare .

Its not just 3 others are just as bad, unless its the sales line selling you something then they are not interested. I had a cracker only this morning.

Phoned Santander to query my last 3 money credits into my business account as I am waiting for a money transfer to go in, went through normal security ok. They ask me what I want and I tell them I want to query my last 3 credits into my account. Then they ask "can I ask you a few more security questions", course I says. Question A comes , then Question B, then Question C, then the next question "What are the last 3 credits into your business account". Doh thats what I am ringing about, Im not sure thats why I am ringing. "Sorry sir" they say I need an answer, so I give them what I am expecting and hoping they will be. WRONG, I have failed security please put phone down and try again. Guess that means my money transfer hasnt taking place yet. Puts phone down I then make a complaint that a security question was about my query in the first place so was highly likely to be wrong. I was absolutely tamping, couldnt even ask a question about my own money because of some imbecile. I even asked the guy if there was a security question wrong that I am unaware of, is there someone else I can talk to to get it resolved and he said no I just had to keep ringing until I get it correct. Ha ha ha sometimes you couldnt make it up.

I haven't had a bill from them in years, think I signed up to online billing or something....Ah an idea...perhaps my online account has the postcode. Then again its been so long since I've used it I have no idea of the login name or password, probably still got an AOL email address as well so thats fecked..

The two company's mentioned here 3 and Santander are the worst in the country for customer service (that's a laugh) plus I could never get a signal when I was on 3. Try First Direct for banking proper customer service and based in UK, I think they also pay you something like £100 for opening a account.

No Internet for 3 days

So I call

What are the last 4 numbers of the bank account you pay your bill with ? I tell him. Err no sir that is wrong. Me no you are wrong I'm logged in to Sky and looking at my payment details. Err no sir those do not match. Me what part of I'm logged into your company reading my details back to you don't you understand? Err no need to get abusive sir. Click! Grr.

And he was Irish too so no excuse oh wait a minute.
