Are our fans being too confident?

Thu Feb 07, 2013 5:56 pm

I know we are in a great position at the moment and I honestly believe that we will finish in the top 2 and probably 1st.
Our fans are talking about how the club will allocate away tickets for next season, get your season ticket early to avoid disappointment next year as only 20000 will be sold for the premiership, extending our ground for the premiership and other associated questions about the premiership next year.
Only problem, what happened if we failed as its only February and many games to go. A lot of other supporters must be reading this board and hoping that we fail to gain promotion, just think that we are in exciting times with Cardiff City but we seem to be jumping the gun at the moment. A very long way to go as we only need 2 or 3 injuries, a couple of red cards and it soon changes our perspective of promotion, it will also pile pressure on the management and players.

It's by no means a certainty yet, but we are in a very good position :ayatollah:

It's been said before, but it's one game at a time.

We are in a good position, with 17 games left, but it's back to the hard work next Saturday.

All the others want us to fail,,, that's always been the case. All we can do is support the City, & hope our lads continue to do the "business" on the pitch.

I have to agree, I will only talk about playing teams like UTD etc if we do get promoted. As you say still alot of points to be played for by all teams.

I said something along the same lines a few days ago.

Still a lot of points to play for :ayatollah:

I'm keeping my feet firmly on the ground....

Who fancies Man Utd away then boys lol, :)

Na, in all seriousness we can't just think it will happen, we are in a great position but long way to go.

Even with 5 games left we wouldn't be safe so 17 is to many games to play to be planning on the Premiership just yet ;)

Any other team 10points clear in this league at this stage and I bet there fans would already be celebrating promotion Lol if you ask me, then I think our fans as a whole are being unusually grounded over our chances of promotion this season considering the position we are in... Obviously got a lot to do with what's gone on in resent seasons :ayatollah:
