do you think he'll ever be a non alcoholic or do you think he's passed saving ?

Always be an alcoholic, there is no cure. Just have to manage the urges day by day. He does seem pretty damaged however, I don't personally see it ending well but I'd be delighted to be proved wrong. It's terrible to watch a man die in front of your eyes.

You are who you are in life, & if you live by the sword,,,,,.

George Best once said, "its not dying i'm afraid of,,,it's what i'm going to miss afterwards"!

Ill never feel sorry for the likes of paul gasgione. If he wants to drink himself to death then carry on. Its a shame for the people who have wasted there time trying to help him through the years though, but in my opinion he doesn't deserve anyones sympathy, he's brought it all on himself, he's had enough chances, a lot more than most. The young kid in a cancer ward fighting tooth and nail for his life and the parents of that child... Now that's the kind of people who get my sympathy and respect.
