Swans database!

Thu Feb 07, 2013 10:24 am

Was at the Wales game last night, (now usually when you buy tickets you just buy them or you're already a member of the FAW Supporters Club) but when getting our tickets, me and my mates had to sign up to the Swansea City Supporters Club?

 Good!!! It works both ways, to get tickets to the last two Wales v Scotland games I had to sign up for the e-ticketing at the CCS...Next thing I knew I was getting all these e-mails from Cardiff City telling me about special offers, upcoming matches etc. Took me b*stard ages to get them stopped

haha why lie? I know that's not the truth because at the stadium we have the FAW's database linked into the system and on wales match days its put live    why lie? you on the other hand don't own your stadium or ticket office, its run by others

 Why would I lie? I bought tickets online a couple of years back and had to go through the Cardiff website, ended up getting e-mails off them left right and centre... I bet if there was a way of checking, my details are on the Cardiff database somewhere.

There are quite a few of us on the jack database, because we bought tickets in their end rather than go to cardiff to get the coaches for the bubble. As they do not run their affairs solely by the football club, all those who bought tickets for last nights game will also be on their database, I think that's what they meant, not being part of the supporters club.
Supporters buying tickets for Wales games at ccs on the other hand will not be on our database only the Wales one.

I believe you but what do you expect when you book online?

The matter of the fact is he went down the stadium and had to do it.. bit desperate no offence.

No offence taken, god knows why he had to go on the database, surprised they didn't just have the pods open for tickets if I'm honest.

yeah I think its you end up on the liberty stadium database rather than the jacks database, I go to all the Wales games at the Liberty I just give my name and all my information is there, ive never had e-mails from the jacks or about Swansea City or Ospreys events.

If its general sale he should of just been able to get a ticket and go in.. bit strange to stay the least.
