Michael Chopra is in hundreds of thousand of pounds in debt. He had to be bailed out by Cardiff City FC and Ipswich Town who he still owes thousands of pounds too.

Just because he has a big bag of cash doesn't mean he isnt in debt. I could owe the bank £1000 and have £100 in my wallet. Doesn't mean im not in debt.

I think the idiot is the one who gets paid £20k a week and is somehow in hundreds of thousands of pounds debt. Not the ones criticising someone for being in debt who is on £20k a week.

Chopra could have had it all and I once idolised him. The guy ruined his career and the life he could have had after his career finishes. Instead of relaxing in the sunshine living it up after retirement, he will be paying debt, after debt, after debt.

Jay Emmanuel Thomas told him he was a clown after posting the pic on Twitter.

He is now 29 years old and on the downturn of his career. By 33 years of age he will probably not be in demand and looking at the end of his career. At that time he will have no savings, be made bankrupt and lose any assets he may have like a house or cars.

After sorting out the normal debtors like the banks he will be left with nothing and STILL have large debts owed to some very dodgy people. He would have been better off being a bum on the street.

question why he has so much cash in a bag. I would doubt he withdrew thousands of pounds from the bank without raising suspicion, especially as he probably owes the bank money.

If he did not get it from the bank, it would not be wages, so where's it from, gambling winnings? Even casinos and bookies pay out big winnings by cheque or as electronic payments.

If its not gambling winnings, could it be an illegal payment for horse racing fixing? He only recently publicly stated that he could not afford to defend himself in court???? Hmmm! I wonder whether any loan sharks will now come knocking his house demanding repayment of outstanding debts.

He probably still has use of his legs only because the loan sharks he owes knows he needs them to earn enough cash to pay them off.

The Ipswich fans are calling for him to be sacked, a few are even saying you should never hate a past or present player but him they detest.

I disagree gywn sent me that photo from all the brown envelopes he recieved, that explains why he stays in cheap hotels getting last minute deals online for £20 a night some say there 5star on here so he must of had it off him or hes been taking pics of annis's safe while hes had it open (all that book money)

What I've learnt from Traffic Cops and Motorway Cops is the classic dealers bundle. £100 in £20's with 4 notes surrounded by a 5th to allow folding.
