Of the current starting 11 do you think will still be in it next season should we be Premier League material?

As much as he deserves it, i think Malky will find a replacement CDM for Gunnarsson. I also think that he will bring a few wingers meaning Conway won't be getting his chance that fully deserves. If we reach the big time i think Taylor's games are numbered as he will find a replacement LB. Maybe another CB or do you think we are fine that department?

Strike force wise i think we are fine and do not need to add to it. We have Campbell and Bellamy who are already Premier League material. Maynard will be fit and firing and we also have young talent in Mason and Gestede (Some agree, some don't).

When debating this post,you have to take into consideration Mackay's loyalty to his players,i would not be at all surprised if he was willing to give all the players who got us to the Premier league a chance to prove themselves at a higher level,a decision that i would contend to be foolhardy in the extream

Given your historical documented stance on our manager I would contend that you are foolhardy in the extreme and are probably the very last person on this forum that displays adequate intelligence to make such a statement regarding this matter.

These are the players that are working their bollocks off to get us promotion this season. Any players that are a main stay in our starting eleven at the moment definitely deserve a shot at the big time.

Most of our squad is very capable and in my opinion can easily cut it at the top level.

Our midfield is ridiculously strong and the defence along with David Marshall are keeping clean sheets almost every other game. I think our centre back options are very capable indeed. At the top level Connolly will not be able to play at right back, that is just my honest opinion. I think he would get ripped apart. The jury is very much out on Taylor, he has been great this season at left back and the defensive side of his game has certainly improved. I think Taylor maybe be able to cut it at the top level, at left back.

McNaughton is very capable of playing right back too and is a fantastic option as a replacement! We will definitely need a new and very good full back though because if we don't we will see the likes of Bale, Mata, Pienaar or Walcott ripping us apart.

Will be interesting to see how much money Malky will have to deal with in the summer, who he brings in and if Bale celebrates scoring against us!

I think Malky is exactly the man we need for the prem. if we went up with jones, he would blow all of tans money on big players with big egos like qpr and we would still inevitably get relegated. In my opinion, there's not a lot that separates our players with top prem players, there is the 'x' factor that you see now and again but with hard work and confidence most players can walk in to the prem, michu is a perfect example of this. Malky will work from grassroots level to train players in his mentality which I admire. It wouldn't surprise me if Malky only bought a couple of prem players and spent loads on creating a great academy and bring in loads of players with huge potential. I would love us to be the FC Porto of the premiership.

Planning on creating a whole new team is he? Why the f**k do we need another central midfielder and two new full backs and another centre back when we got Coulson, Declan John and Nugent all coming through the academy? Also why would we need another central midfielder when we got Cowie, Whittingham, Gunnar, Kiss, Mutch, Ralls and Kim Bo who are all very capable of playing central midfield and all of these can play in the top flight too imo.

The only thing I agree with here is needing some new strikers and another winger.

Oh God. I didn't see he put a keeper there. We do need new strikers though in the Premiership because out of those lot only Bellamy, Maynard and Campbell can play upfront in the premiership. Smith will be a brilliant back up but I see him more of a winger than a striker and he has shown in the past he cannot cut it at Premiership level. Jarvis is league one standard, at best. Rudy is not good enough for the Premiership and Helguson will soon be retiring. So we need another new target man up top imo.

I think he will keep the basis of the squad together and just improve it by a couple of key acquisitions. This will improve the quality of the squad but maintain the camaraderie that exists.

We are talking about the premiership.
I haven't seen a lot of Lewis but I do wonder it he is good enough for the championship nevermind the prem.
3rd keeper I assume you mean parish who we have no idea on realistically.
The prem isn't like the championship where you can just loan in most the season.

As for the strikers your having a laugh. Bellamy yes, Campbell and more so Maynard have it all to prove and the others not good enough.
I would think Helguson and Jarvis will be released and most likely Etien and Rudy either sold on or at least loans out.
Smith as a good option on the bench tho I agree.
