But these Arabs sacked O'Driscoll, who was doing pretty well. Then brought
in McLeish... who walked after 5 weeks.
His reason was that they were sticking their oars into all things football.
Apart from the red shirt, we dont know we're born with Vincent Tan. All he
is interested in is raising the profile of Cardiff City and reshaping the business
model in preparation for Premiership Football. He leaves the football people
to deal with the football side of things.

Not to Tan etc it isn't they obviously have a plan and vision and that's the reason they did the rebrand and not just to sell shirts.

We are still Cardiff City Football Club, we still play in the same place, we still
have 'FA Cup winners'.. 'Division 1 runners-up and 'Cup-Winners Cup Semi-finalists'
on our honours list. Yes we have a different colour shirt. I dont like that either but
we have changed colour before. To me the red is a far less disappointing development
than the sterile, lifeless atmosphere at the new ground. Tommy ten men stewards
walking round like Universal Soldiers with their tame coppers just waiting to pounce
on evil fans standing up or swearing...or some shithouse 'modern fan' ringing the
grassing line. Id happily see us in pink if we were just allowed to be working class
males at the football again. Cant blame Tan for THAT either really, Modern Football
sucks the big one.
But apart from all that... Vincent Tan has done more for this Club than any other 'owner'
if you disagree... please tell me who gave us more?

Actually, what your refusing to do is acknowledge anything good he's done

Well it sure seems sinister to me that he was slagged off so much LAST season, long
before the rebrand was even a twinkle in the eye.

I'd say it was more on the football side of things than board room level.

Lionel Messi could do 500 keeps-upsys in a red, pink, spotted, striped or luninous green shirt
... so your wrong
The kit does not affect the football

Where have I claimed that the club name has changed? Identity is more than just a name..
You say the name is the same, but not the shirt colour? Actually, that's incorrect - since the club became known as Cardiff City Football Club, it had ALWAYS played in blue, until Vince Tan came along and changed that.
No, you can't blame Tan for the modern football environment, though, there are aspects of the modern day game which are more appealing to me than before..
What you can blame Tan for though, is the totally unnecessary rebrand.
As for what Tan has done? I'll reserve my judgement just now. At one point I thought Hammam was our saviour, he has since nearly seen us wound up. So you'll understand why I'd prefer to reserve judgement. Especially as this money has loaned us is getting us very deep in debt.
