Stopped posting months ago. Stopped looking last month after the pop ups became intolerable even with blocks on. Then the advertising turned to soft porn even without my browsing history ..... Honest.

It was only time before this happened. I believe search engines take their lead from complaints.

I'm using this site more & more lately. MM site is slow as to the point its no longer worth the hassle. Plus all crap posts on there anyway. Perhaps this will soon become the no.1 City site?

I'd say the atmosphere is getting a lot better here since we banned a lot of the WUMs that were really ruining this place.

I find Mikes site totally different to this one regarding how threads are kept on course. We stick to a subject where on MM a thread seems to get hijacked a lot. This most likely is down to them having more posters than us. If we hit their number of posters then we need to monitor this behaviour. Atm things are steady and lets hope it stays that way when we do start getting more recruits.

that ccmb is just full of kids posting crap, you see other posters asking questions and all you get is 30 replies of bullshit, its like a playground on there

Ive been banned from there numerous times. You have to be a Tory hater to get on on that site otherwise you'll get destroyed. Better to just stay off it and stay on here. There is abuse on here but at least you can have a decent debate every now and then on here without Dr Muff and his benefits brigade on your case. Poor old Croesy gets ruined on there.

Just saying, you know the reason you are fine on your mac isn't because its necessarily better, but because people don't target them as much because the average joe (easiest prey) has windows and internet explorer? I don't have any problems with my Linux machine for the same reason, and I didn't pay a penny for that OS!

****disclaimer!*** I'm not having a go at Macs or you by the way.. they are good bits of kit, lovely hardware. I just personally think they are overpriced and not that much better than alternatives.. but still unfortunately very cool and obviously very good for certain applications -I have no idea why you have them so am passing no comment on their suitability for you!

This site is better for football talk. What I like about the other site is there are lots of random topics. I don't want to talk or read about football non stop. I like the variety. And you can ask any random questions on there and usually get some decent replies

I know you didn't say that Barry, and I wasn't trying to say that you were wrong if you did say it. I'm just quite interested in all this stuff and wanted to share a bit of info and opinion about it (presumably that is okay on a messageboard!?), hence why I put the disclaimer in as I didn't want anyone to think I was being inflammatory.

never used that site for one simple reason, the layout and design of this site is much easier to navigate! get to confused on there!
