Marshall has saved your skin many times this season, never have I seen a team play the way you do and get results. On the back-foot the whole game yet win, incredible.

^ Leicester fan from Cardiff who goes to a few of our games or so he claims.

Clearly didn't watch Chelsea in the Champions League.

Clearly didn't watch QPR in the season they got promoted.

Marshall has saved our skin but that's his job he's paid to do. Would he criticise our strikers for scoring?

Our formula is simple: Don't concede and be clinical when we get our chances. There is nothing more to it.

We don't always play hoof ball as some claim. We play a mixture depending on what is effective in the game and if Malky can see one thing isn't working he'll make a change. Within moments of bringing on Fraizer we had the ball in the back of the net.

Fans of other clubs can say what they like about us but we're not the same team and last season we overachieved with a new set of players. We've got a complete squad now. There is not one fault in our team. I challenge everyone to find it. QPR got loads of plaudits because they had Taarabt who would produce a moment of technical brilliance which would mask over an otherwise ugly 1-0 win. The thing is, players like Clint Hill were doing the dog work in the defence, breaking teams down and Derry in midfield was putting in a shift all the time.

With each attack the opposition team fails with they get disheartened and frustration kicks in. Its at that point we strike and their heads drop more. They then keep trying to attack but they got nothing left to give because our team has mentally crippled them. There is no way through as they found out first half but they find themselves 1-0 down now. Its harder again. They want to get on the coach home.

The Leicester game itself is testament to this. They battered us first half and they're the only team in my opinion who have done so in that manner. Palace gave a little threat with Zaha hitting the post but nothing else really. No one else has really caused us real issues like Leicester. As soon as the goal went in their heads went and the second half was pretty much easy going without any real threat.

Typical ICWales shit stirring though.
Anyone who seen the interview would know he was having a joke and was laughing as he said it.

No wonder Cardiff players over the recent years have hated the eggo "journalists" so much.

It's not wonder so many players come out with boring pre phrased comments the way they twist words.

This is a grate post taken from there by Taffonthemrsey.
Some's us up pretty well.

Nervous, for the first season ever I feel a sense of composure. Im on here because I appreciate that you are 2nd and there are a a few on here who offer good debates. Cardiff have been every kind of team in this league over the last decade, high scorers, draw specialists, away winning specialists, home winning specialist, unable to get 3 points when losing a game specialists, players going out and getting pissed pissed 24 hours before the most important game in 50 years and then losing 3.0 at home specialists, losing form because of cup run success' specialists....WE.HAVE.DONE.IT.ALL

We are the granddads of this league and let me tell you, points are all that matter and we have a business like team and management who clock in and clock out with points in the bag. I have a deep sense of calm, its actually a buzz.

In fairness to Campbell, his comments at that press conference, which is on CC player, didn't come across as arrogant, conceited, or ultra self confident. The comments were, & has been taken totally out of context, i'm sure.
The guy had just signed for our club, & is obviously excited by the future at Cardiff City that lays ahead.
Malky has got a gem in Fraizer, as well as all the other players in the squad, & he [Fraizer] wants too & will do well for us, I have no doubt of that!

I love the guy who says 'he has confidence in their owners'. Does anyone actually know who they are. Asia Football Investments, could be drug smugglers, human traffickers, who knows. If I was a criminal and wanted a route into owning a football club, i guess that is how I would do it.

The same guy says something along the lines of 'passing teams stay up, its proven by history' - well that shows wtf he knows because before swansea people used to say that you had to exploit defences in the air to stay up.

They've spent spent spent for 3 years now with no idea where their money is coming from and finally they have a chance of promotion, good luck to them but it won't be easy.

Putting aside the pot & kettle situation of trying to call us out on our foreign owners, we know very well who they are: Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha (recently changed from Raksriaksorn by Thailand's King - something to do with service to the country) and his son, Top. Whilst their ambitions beyond gaining Premiership status are unclear, and they aren't as visible around the club as they were when they first arrived, for the time being they seem like honorable chaps and haven't yet held us hostage with their money to force a rebranding of the club (but you're all really glad to be called the Redbirds/Dragons, right?).

The bottom part of that post along with:
welshjon wrote:Gotta laugh at the 1 post we bought the leauge

Are equally pot & kettle: In the thread on our forum someone has done the maths and your spending by far outweighs us under big Nige (aka the beginning of Leicester's era of reason in most fans' eyes - with the ushering out of the big names/egos/wages that we accrued under Sven to leave us with a proper team ethic and healthier finances), and is ten times bigger than us this season.

Good luck in the run in, and in the Prem following that.

(We play better football than you  )
