“I’m very proud of my lads." Warnock said.
" The hand ball by Hudson was blatant," Warnock said.

Malky Mackay

“We played really well today and came here with a game plan," Malky Mackay said.
Mackay said he had been impressed by the way his team had battled to overcome hosts who had won their last six home games.

“It was a hard-earned win. I’ve never had an easy game at Elland Road or Neil Warnock,” he said.

“I knew it would be a tough game as Leeds were coming off the back of six home wins and had an incredible win last weekend against Spurs in the FA Cup.

“It was about the way but we applied ourselves really well which we knew we had to.

“We showed our qualities and I thought as the game went on we showed control of the ball.”

Fraizer Campbell scored City's winner just 2 mins into his debut and the win keeps Cardiff ten points clear at the top of the Championship.

With games starting to run out Cardiff hold pole position in the race for the Premier League.

"It is a cruel game sometimes. Everything about this match was cruel," Warnock said.
"We missed open goals and the young lad (Byram) made a schoolboy error. I thought Mike Dean was brilliant but he didn't see the handball, when we all appealed, because he was in a bad position and should have been in a better one.
"He had three or four bodies in the way. The linesman could have helped him out, but they don't, do they. Then there was another handball in the 93rd minute that wasn't given.
"Our two centre-halves were magnificent, we played some good stuff against the top-of-the-table team and were better than them, so it's very frustrating that we got nothing."

At the other end of the scale Malky was happy to come away three points.
“We played really well today and came here with a game plan," Mackay said. "While in the last fifteen to twenty minutes we really had to dig in as balls were being rained down on us. The win is a positive, as is another clean sheet, something the near five hundred long travelling fans can enjoy on the way home tonight.
“Today is also about how we defended as a team. I’ve already gone on record in my belief that David (Marshall) is the best keeper in this division. He always does well for us and today had two saves to make, which on numbers alone I’m happy they were restricted to at Elland Road, especially after their recent run of home form. That stat is a credit to my whole team in the way we defended when needed, while when called upon Marshy was as dependable as ever.”

Did you guys see his post game interview? He was on about two handballs and blamed officials for the result. Was the officiating bad?

What was Warlock saying to the press for 'mind games', ah yes, Cardiff winning ugly? Well moaning after your beaten is losing ugly.

I photographed the game and thought Leeds had the bulk of the first half. They should have score a couple but didnt. Marshall was awesome with some saves in the first half and a reflex save late in the second.

When we came out for the second half you could see how pumped up the side were. There was only going to be one winner and Fraizer took his goal with some class.

I dont want to knock Maynard but Fraizer is pure class.

Warlock has always been a bad looser,,,nothing wrong with that, and sometimes its a good sporting trait to have, but he just abuses the privilege.

Ask Connolly!! He gave away more fouls in one game than he has done all season I think!!

I thought the referee was good today, decisive and didn't seem to get a lot wrong, Leeds did deserve to at least come away with a point, marshalls goal line save in the first half was amazing - just pure reaction on instinct.

But this is what makes champions! Not being the better team and still coming away with 3 points!

Warnock can go suck a fat one the sore loser.

Hope he enjoys managing a mediocre mid table team next year while we're gracing the premier league :malky: :malky: :malky:

I thought Mike Dean was terrible!!!!

Thought Malky changed tactics and made subs at right times today. We looked so solid at the back bar the odd scare and I alwYs felt we'd nick a goal.

Dean refused top let the gamer flow, he gave fouls for all sorts of things that should have just been left as comings together and never played advantage.

No idea what Colin's on about with the hand balls.

Officials certainly had it out for Connolly. He couldn't breathe without having a foul called on him. I thought the officiating was awfully hard on City today.

There was maybe only one challenge he made that didn't warrant a free kick, I think Connolly was prone to a few mistakes yesterday. Some were softer than others, but by the book they were fouls.

But all said and done, 3 points is all that counts!
