For a minute I thought you were going to accuse Vince Alm of using a sunbed.
Have you got much info on this guy?

If TG is just the front man for Vincent Tan then it could be good news, for if Vincent tan is interested in a stake in our club a deal will be done quickly, this fella doesn't pussy foot around he gets the deal done pronto, that's just how he works. He is also heavily connected with other tycoons in Asia one being Brian Chang who is another wealthy businessman from Singapore. I hope this guy is involved because he has the midas touch. Everything he touches turns to gold

Morning All,
Now that is an impressive backer of your football club, he clearly is a very wealthy man indeed. Is he actually a sports fan too or does he see this as an investment opportunity?
I would of thought it would it would be that he is actually a sports fan because with the size of his wealth that would be far better and more secure ways of making a return on your investment, unless Mr Tan links the football club to one of his portfolio of other opportunities such pay per TV, Gambling etc which could be a possability. I note the Company is listed FSTE 100 index and he has a very hefty turnover in excess of 80 million Dollars per anum. Very impressive.
Whats hard to fathom though is the following after reading some of Mr Ridsdales statements over the last 24 hrs on various forums and interviews with the Welsh Media.
Firstly at your forthcoming meeting Annis I would raise a simple question to Peter Ridsdale that may shed some light, the question being " Peter, have you actually met in person Vincent Tan and conducted business forthwith regards to the purchase of Cardiff City" and if so " where did you meet Vincent Tan actually and what was concluded from that meeting"
Hopefully all will be positive for Cardiff City and Vincent Tan will want to own a football club but here is something that personally I find a little strange for the actions of a Billionaire wanting to purchase a business with a mediocre turnover compared to his own Companies and a bit of baggage debt compared to the sums of wealth of Vincent Tan.
Why would a Billionaire mess about wanting to purchase such a small going concern compared to his normal business , by firstly watching TG placed on the board for a smallish investment , not contact Sam Hammam himself to break a quick and easy as possible deal of repayment of a debt that clearly has to be paid and if as obviously it is with Vincent Tan, cash in bank always negoiates a far lower settlement price. Very strange the actual way this is all being handled by a Billionaire wishing to purchase a Company of what a 12 mill turnover per anum?
Could it be that TG is actually playing games himself with Peter Ridsdale who is in a desperate position, as glorified yesterday with the events of being in the High Court on a winding up order on Feb 3 however that Mr Ridsdale prefers to dress it up.
TG or should we say " football Asia " have yet from what I see from their website not actually done anything in the football business apart from have a couple of links ( so called) with British Clubs. Could it be TG is using the name/wealth of Vincent Tan to impress Mr Ridsdale of who probably sold TG a stake quite cheaply to get some money into the coffers to cover the holes in the bank by his continous over budgeting.
To make it simplier Annis, if you were a billionaire and you seem to know most of the current structure of the Club and it's liabilities how would you actually go about purchasing the Club from the current regieme? Let me take a guess at that and let me know if you think i'm correct,
Firstly you would offer Sam Hammam/langstone a settlement going for the biggest discount possible in return for hard cash?
Secondly you would make offers to PMG for their shareholding and relief of their securities on the Club, again in hard cash for the largest discounted rate possible?
Thirdly, you would make arrangement and settlement of all other loans, saving all interest payments as well?
Fourthly, you would try and purchase a majority shareholding from current shareholders in order to own the Club yourself?
Or would you send in one of your troops like say " Dai Thomas " to spend some of his own funding and take a 25% share first before your arrival? and if so for what purpose?
I would say Billionaires know they have what is known as " f**k off " money , they can tell anyone to " f**k off" when they want to without it ever affecting them and also they get what they want when they want wouldn't you agree?
I look forward to your thoughts Annis and hope for you this is not another pantomine being played at your football Club, with TG playing Widdo Twanky, Ridsdale as smutten as Cinderella and Vincent Tan as Aladdin and going back into his lamp in a puff of smoke.

Interesting stuff.
I'm not going to give it justice by spending as much time analysing it as you have, bt a couple of things to bear in mind.
1. The current lowish turnover of the club means there is a potential to do MUCH, MUCH better, therefore if due to the clubs financial problems he could well get it on the cheap.
2. The 'infrastructure' is there, very little in terms of capital to be spent by him in order to create the facilities required for a Premier league club - OK in order to REALLY do well, he might have to spend say £10m on the ground to uprgrade to 35k, but thats peanuts to him.
3. He may see it as a club which can be taken to the hearts of his countrymen, the Liverpool or Man U of Malaysia, a bit like Man City have been piggy-backed by the Arabs.
4. it may well be an easy fix to go about things the way you mention, but these guys dont get super-rich by doing things the EASY way, they get rich by buying low and selling high, and at a value of £20m with a £50m stadium, £15m of playing assets and a debt which may be able to be reduced to £25m (including not only Sam but the others), its not really a bad deal for someone with hard cash to invest.
Interesting times anyway.
We need something to hang onto as the alternative to investment form outside doesnt look too attractive right now.
