I am not sure we would be able to achieve two mid table premiership finishes and a cup which is what they might achieve after this season. Although we have been in two cup finals in the past five years so haven't been far behind on that front even from the championship. Tan will have to do a Man City or Swansea need to start going backwards for us to overtake them in the short term. But they will always be the second biggest supported team in Wales, I can't see that changing.

Probably agree with the majority of that in fairness, although I don't think cup finals and championship play offs are in anyway comparable to two consecutive mid table Prem finishes and a cup win (if the expected happens).

Mid table prem finishes are just that.
The cup however is a little devalued by the team you are playing against in the final.
Just as it will seem a lot more to Bradford should they win.
Had it been Man U/ Man City/ or any team of note in the final ...but as they say, you can only play what's in front of you.
You will most prob win the cup, but it will always be remembered who it was in the final.
If however Bradford win it, it will be be more of a worthy win.
Seems a bit bias maybe, but I think a fair assessment.

No cups are worth more than others based on the finalists, that's a crazy notion. it's like saying Man Uniteds league title isn't worth as much if they actually win it and declared champions against Wigan. Only morons think the cup is a one off match, swans knocked out current cup holders Liverpool 3-1 away and European cup holders chelsea 2-0 over 2 legs to get there. Cardiffs final was against Woolwich Arsenal for example. It will only be remembered by the finalists by Cardiff fans and Bradford fans.

Who do you think will have achieved most in the final when either of you win?
Liverpool beating us last year was no great shakes as they beat a championship side. It was expected.
You are now expected to beat a team so far below you it matters not a lot.

But that statement means that you are also comparing them to the 1920s team.
