Just a poll to see how long people on this board have been supporting the club .
Mainly due to the fact i allways see people accusing people of being new fans and wondered what type of mix this board had !

Wigan home 1989 for me been a season ticket holder ever since the end of that year

1989 for me. My dad took me to my first game at home v burnley. Bob bank full and all standing. I was stood on the disabled area with my dad underneath the flood light between the canton and the bob bank. Couldn't keep my eyes off the bob bank though looked mental!! Hooked from then on

Went on to become a junior bluebird then!!! Very proud of my plastic card!!

I suppose when you have experienced those days, it makes what's happening now so so special. If we go up I think I will cry

I was slightly lucky as ive allways had family within the club so got to go behind the scenes and chill with the players for years when i was a kid , same as you been hooked ever since . I remember having to carry boxes of pies and pastys round the back of the stands as a kid aswell to restock the food huts wierd the things you remember about being a kid at the city

My dad took me to see a Welsh Cup Final in 1969. Ever since, really. We both still go, at 84 and 55 years of age.

Nine years now.

My first match was the 3-2 home loss to Reading (2003/04) when I was nine years old. Also met James Collins and Danny Gabbidon that night.

I can remember begging my uncle (a City supporter of 30+ years) for a season ticket each week following that match, but had to settle for the odd home game every now and then before receiving an ST as a birthday present for the 2005/06 season. Haven't looked back since.
