Raising money for Prostate Cancer UK- Ice Hockey tournament

Hi there, some people know me on here and some don't. I'm taking part in the UK Forum All-Stars Ice Hockey tournament @ Ice Sheffield in July and will be representing the Prostate Cancer UK team.

There's 6 charities involved and over £14k was raised last summer in Cardiff.

Charities included are 4 National and 2 local :

I haven't played any form of hockey in 13 years so decided this was the year I would start playing again. I've worked with the All-Stars weekend off the ice for the last 3 years but hated watching from the side so decided to register and raise some money for a worthy cause.

Did this last year when it was in Cardiff, its raises a nice amount of money considering how small the sport is in the UK. Its quiet well organized too

It does. It's growing every year and we anticipate to break last years figure. I've been involved off ice the last 3 years so decided to jump on this year.

His first involvement was a big plank of wood dropped on his head!!! Thanks to AA for letting G post the request on here when we started this weekend 6 years ago for 2 charities we did not know he big it would grow. It will be back in cardiff next year so will be looking for a local charity to support. Last time it was Ty Hafan.

Quick update on the weekend itself. Very close to £6k raised between the charities.
