Promotion

I am more convinced than ever that Cardiff city will get promotion this season........the reason why is simple,we have been playing a brand of football that is absolutely dire,in fact it would be more accurate to call it hoof ball instead of football,and yet we find ourselves 8 points clear of second placed Hull City and 10 points clear of our other closest rivals,you couldn't make it up,i am a great believer in fate,and to me fate has decreed,that no matter how badly we play week in week out,no matter how many times Mackay gets it wrong,we are destined to go up,even as incredible as it may sound we could go up as champions,now i know good teams make their own luck,but hand on heart when the final whistle blew today,how many of you on here would have believed that both Hull and Middlesbourgh would lose at home and Palace would lose to a very ordinary Burnley team,i say to one and all that the Gods of good fortune are alive and well, dwelling deep below the bowels of the Cardiff City Stadium,so put the champagne on ice my fellow supporters,because we are going up............anybody know anyone who would like some free bridesmaids dresses?

if we do go up it will be nothing to do with how good cardiff are it will be all down to how bad the rest of the division are

Totally agree, the league is extremely poor this year, all the promoted teams doing shite and we happen to be doing the least shite, but I will take that and party lol

It's pretty clear that its extremely competitive theirs alot of talent about everyone can beat everyone this season.

You've only got to look through some of the squads and theirs players in the bolton / boro reserves who would walk into most teams.
blackburn have better strikers than us be for whatever reason its not happened for them

I agree. The same lines get reeled out every season. Look at the money many teams have invested. Watford, Leicester & Forest all got big money backers whilst teams that came down haven't lost too many of their squad. This team is brilliant as its so competitive - compare that to the prem where pretty much the top 6 is the same every season and the rest are just cannon fodder for the big boys

My dear Angelis I didn't read your post because it was written in a poor format but i'll assume you think we are going up this season but do you think with Malky at the helm anythings possible?

It's a very average championship this season and we've got to make the most of it.

My dear Bluebird since 1948 ,first may i say i regret that my style of posting is not what you would like,but i hope you are still able, to get the gist of them (maybe get someone to read them to you)as to your question,my views on Mackay are well documented and have not changed,as to getting promotion this season,well i really think that destiny has decreed that we will go up,no matter how badly we play,i really think that the most important question to be asked,is whether we can stay in the Premiership,none of us want City to be a one season wonder,so everything would hinge on how our owners would judge things,and part of that judgment could be whether Mackay has what it takes to consolidate our new found status in the Premiership.......could be very interesting times ahead
