We drew today its not the end of the world, the overall performance was not great I admit, however we are top of the table!

I can't help but wonder if we make it to the premier league how some of our so called fans react if we are not winning every week!

The players our manager us fans, we all make mistakes or may not be at our best! Get off there backs and support them though the good and bad times, if not FUC- OF-.

Theres no buts and what ifs about it, we will start to drop down the league if we play we have done the past 8 or 9 games. We are in a false position and we aren't moaners for thinking that, we are REALISTS.

What if Zaha gets injured for Palace and they slide down the table? What if Warnock goes AWOL, books a flight to Morocco and tells Leeds' owners to shove their job up their arse because of their fans attitudes?

If it goes bad then the issues will have to be addressed then. At the moment we are playing poorly I agree but we are picking up the points and QPR got promoted by pretty much the same method. The amount of 1-0 wins they got on the way to winning the league was astonishing with the odd demolition job thrown in here and there. The thing is, we are playing as poor as we pretty much can be as far as im concerned and we've still not gone on a losing spree. That tells me that the moment we start playing better the scores will improve.

Bit harsh in my opinion to be basing viewpoints on what could be. Chelsea won the Champions League playing some of the most boring and brain killing football I have ever witnessed. They grabbed goals against the run of play, very much like we have done against teams but as long as its continuously effective then there is no problem.

That's a record not to be sniffed at, it's not easy

And I agree it was not a pretty game and we had chances to win, but did not take them

you mean, we are top of the league. playing shit football, this top spot wont last long . 7 points will soon go down, we need energy in the team. by that i mean new signings, we need a blood transfer

Youre the one who hasnt got a clue if you think we can carry on these inept displays and get promoted.

The last 5 home games weve played well in one half against palace and thats about it.

Grinded out wins we barely deserved v sheff w, leicester, brum and Millwall but law of averages we cant keep on playing poorly and winning 1-0.

Bluebird 1948, don't want to get into an argument here but I don't understand how you can say that you are realists. You stated that we have been playing like this for 8 or 9 games and we will drop if it continues, but the reality of the situation is that we have moved even further clear during this period. You say it's a false position and I say THE LEAGUE DON'T LIE!

were not gratefull for todays result. we are gratefull a few of our rivals fucked up, we must put the ball in our court, not other teams, if hull . palace. borough would have won. we might be saying things differently. ok at the end of the day . it wasnt a bad day for us as far as results went.but we got to improve

We was shit playing boring shit hoofball. Every team that plays us can't understand why we are top of the league TBF I am stumped. The first half at Brum was like a shite 2nd division game. Today there was no difference between top and bottom

But we are not judging the season by this one game. The last 5 games we have been well below par and we have been getting worse game by game. Thank God Chris Wood left Millwall the week we played them, Birmingham had to put out a young team due to injuries and DJ Campbell got called back from his spell with Ipswich. We might get lucky next week against a Blackpool team in management crisis but we cannot rely on this luck and need to get some form back else we will be caught very quickly. See what we are saying.

Bit surprised at your comments there BBs48.I've only been watching the city since 73 but in the years I've watched when we gained auto promotion the season was no walk in the park either.I remember being behind the goal at Edgar St when City were thumped 4-1 by Hereford and thinking shit we'll never be promoted-how wrong I was.

like i have said on a previous post....1 point gainned rather than lost....10 clear instead of 9... thats 3 wins and a draw which we have advantage over.....we all have our bad days, yesterday was one of them, it was wet and bloody cold...im sure we will bounce back looking stronger against blackpool. We are not playing well but are still picking up points! Hull played badly yesterday and lost, we didn't play very well IMO against Sheff Wed and won! Hopefully that is the difference between going up automatically or playoffs. Lets remember how difficult the Championship is, West Ham who are doing well in the Premiership this season found that out last season didn't they! I do think our form needs 2 improve for us 2 go up but I'm sure it will! 8 pints clear, hopefully a few new faces in this month and we should be raring 2 go for the final few months!
