THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO GOT INVOLVED

When 'YOUNG GUNS' was set up we didn't know where it would go and how well the initiative would do, but today we presented Scott Young with a cheque of £6143.53, which will go towards providing kit and equipment for the youngsters coming through our system.

Those who have contributed and continue to do so can be content in the knowledge that the money is going towards the youngsters and their coaching.

Scott Young and his staff have asked us to say a massive thank you to each and everyone who has backed this initiative.

My hope is that we can get the help of the supporters trust to back this initiative, I know the trust like to help the local community in becoming involved and part of Cardiff City Football Club, at present the idea is run by a few guys and not an organisation like the trust. I will forward this post to Keith Morgan who has expressed his support in the past to see if Keith can present the idea to the supporters trust.

The presentation of the cheque took place today at half time and here are some pictures from it.

Carl good to see what we started a few years ago grow into something that will benefit the club. I do hope the youth of South Wales and surrounding areas join the club and supply future players for the club and Wales.
