Is this signing players bollocks or what

Dire today, with Leicester getting a bargain in woods and soon to be breathing down our necks, the lack of any transfers at city is a major concern.. Like previous January's is all this transfer talk bollocks or are we working hard to get the right players in because leicester have certainly pulled off a master stroke in getting woods for a million.

We didn't really look like scoring and I know Maynard will do the business but do we want to falter again and end up in the play offs.

Leicester sign Wood for in the region of a million, we sign Velikonja for well over a million. Wood would have been perfect for us, we won't be able to sign another mobile, goalscoring target man as good as him at this level for that price. We certainly could have done with Wood instead of Gestede today, that's for sure!

They were talking about Chris Woods today on Talksport, a football writer for one of the national newspapers stated that 6 Championship clubs were in for Woods but he chose Leicester, it's quite possible that we were one of the 6, like they say you can take a horse to water but you can't make him drink, if we were one of the clubs then it shows the intent is there and before the end of the window we will have a new striker in.

Well if we keep playing like we are it won't be long before Leicester or one of the others are closer... We been in this situation before and fucked it up so it's no point name calling when everyone can see how poor we are. We can't win every game but do we really look as if we are capable of dealing with a couple of injuries.... Some how I dont think we are.

I think any person who watches city each week could tell you what type of player we need to give us that extra push. If we supposedly got cash why wait. Unless we haven't got any perhaps....perhaps the budget has gone....

Perhaps vt has decided enough is enough and he's not gonna spend his money no more.... Perhaps the north Koreans have finally managed to make a long range nuclear rocket and vt is a little bit scared to invest....perhaps he can see how shit the atmosphere is at home he has decided go pull out.... All i know is this month seems like every other jan at the mo....

When exactly have we been in this situation before? Not sure if anybody in the Championship has at this stage, we changed half our squad in the Summer and are 10 pts clear of 3rd, I'd like us to get a proven striker and a full back in, but not going to throw my toys out as think we'll go up anyway.

I know nothing. I just find it hilarious that the guy has played 3 times and Leicester have gained points on us once in the last eight games, and the same f*cking geniuses pipe up every few weeks. He might have scored his last goals for Leicester - nobody knows, but I'll bet decent money with anyone that they won't catch us

I don't think they'll catch nor us do I think they'll go up. Boro, albeit aren't doing the best atm, are the ones I'm keeping an eye on.

We signed 10 players last time because it was the summer transfer window and we had months to bring players in.

I can understand some of the fans frustration.. if he doesn't bring someone in before Blackpool then I guarntee he won't bring in anyone.
