Rusty - Momentum Lost?

Its fair to say that todays performance was below par. With a break last week and one coming up after the Blackpool game I think that the momentum and habit of winning games could be lost.

We looked well off the pace today and perhaps its better to play regularly and keep a run going that have a stop/start period.The silly thing is the loss last week and resting the entire team could back fire on us. Not only did we look off form and rusty today but next month we play 5 games in about 15 days. One extreme to another.

I still think it was the right decision to rest the first team in the cup.

However yes I think we did lose some momentum

More like we played an improving well organised Ipswich side in poor weather conditions, gained a point on our nearest rivals, and one game closer to our ultimate goal. I'm happy!
