enough......really has to look at his effort and up his work rate considerably...
Sat Jan 12, 2013 5:26 pm
Hes crap... get Heidar our top scorer back in there.
Rudy needs to go out on loan to chesterfield or newport.

The sad truth is Joe Mason was anonymous after he came on again.
Rudy and Joe may make it, but its not now and we are not simply a nursery for emerging talent.

Said it last year and said it again this year. How much longer are we going to persist with him. We must get a genuine goal scoring striker in. We won't see Maynard except for he last few games whatever the optimists say!

Kevin, if we started every game with Rudy upfront in my opinion, we would be lucky to make the play-offs.

But we havent he's started 2 matches 1 we won and 1 we drew. Malky is using the squad, Helguson wasnt playing well so was dropped for Rudy. Fully expect Helguson to start next match. Rudy is useful for coming off the bench to change the game.

Rudy is nowhere near good enough for this league.
I was right f*cking disheartened to hear he was starting!!
Sat Jan 12, 2013 5:51 pm
Very poor today
Sat Jan 12, 2013 5:53 pm
Anyone think Malky played him to prove a point? Maybe he wanted to prove that he needed extra funds to bring in a striker of real quality as the owners were there...hmmm..
Sat Jan 12, 2013 5:57 pm
Totally agree.
Don't like him. Never have. He's not good enough. It showed today he can't win headers. He jumps too early and it does my f ing head in.
Malky can't start him again.
Sat Jan 12, 2013 5:58 pm
He was the worst I've ever seen him.
He's lazy, he can't win headers and goes nowhere near the box.
We looked far far better when Mason came on.
I yelled when he went off "Send him to Newport". The guy next to me summed it up when he replied "He's not good enough."

Been saying it since he come hes yet to do anything for me, again i'll say the same as last season about him which has not changed as i've seen better sunday league players playing on five inch long grass with mud patch galore with the odd dog turd tossed in on the pitch than this donkey

I thought he had been having sprinting coaching! It hasn't worked!!!!!!!!! Note that Chris Wood got a hat-trick for Leicester.
Sat Jan 12, 2013 6:06 pm
I think by playing him we only have route one, straight down the middle, no width and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy- that he is not good enough.
The ongoing love in about Joe Mason who also is not good enough( or is good enough but doesn't do much) is baffling.
IMO we played better when Rudy went off because we didn't have the easy, lazy low risk option of smacking it down the middle.
We need a centre forward desperately.
Oh and don't send Kev to Wednesday, was Connolly better ?
Sat Jan 12, 2013 6:08 pm
He is rubbish what Malky sees in him I can't imagine

Connolly would be better in the middle to stop the hoof ball from Turner.
Sat Jan 12, 2013 6:14 pm
My only problem with Joe is he needs to improve his upper body weight as he seems to get wrestled off the ball when homing in on goal to often of course this will come naturally in time and as for other aspects of his game i believe he is a very good footballer with an abundance of skill and will be a massive asset to Cardiff City long term.
As for Rudy I find it difficult to see him making it in the Premiership.

Rudy was absolutely shocking today, should've started heidar. I don't know if it was issues with fitness or whatever but at least heidar won headers when he came on. If today doesn't show we need a couple of new players, then I don't know what will

I think Rudy would struggle to change his pants, though on the whole team performance it's hard to really judge anybody.
Sat Jan 12, 2013 6:23 pm
Extremely poor today.

By far not good enough, but neither was mason when he came on.
So were they not good enough through there own skill levels, or was the service a bit poor today?

I thought Mason did well when he came on for the first 20 minutes.
He looked as if he'd been taking jumping training from Helguson, he won far more in the air than Rudy did.

Why havent you started a thread about.mason as well then
Sat Jan 12, 2013 7:03 pm
Used to have a soft spot for the lad . but after today i conclude that he is shite. no get up and go, too slow and hasnt got a fuckin clue what to do when the ball is at his feet. garbage.
Sat Jan 12, 2013 7:09 pm
For a big man he is crap in the air.His timing is way off and I have watched him closely and have found that instead of tracking the ball till it is almost on him and then jumping, Rudy seems to plant himself 5 seconds too early and when the ball does reach him, he is often too far out of position to win the header yet alone direct it to someone.
I also think he is a lazy player and only ever chases when prompted by Malky shouting at him.His first touch is useless and he does not not stay on his feet very well. Finally I almost forgot that he is like a piece of glass and prone to injury so he is not a good buy in my view and like has been said by other posters, I do not see what Malky sees in him.

He's a donkey. One of the laziest players on the pitch. He's meant to be good in the air but what the f**k was he doing today? Shocking player. The sooner Malky realises it the better.

At least Mason won a few headers and chased down their centre backs
And tbh I think the midfield let the forwards down today. We've not seen our midfield create any good chances for awhile now
