Passports

How long does it take to pay and receive a passport and is there a way to get one ASAP?

Mine took a week to come after having an interview at there office, prob would have been quicker if i could have found my old one.

I heard you can pay extra or something to get it faster?

I'd want it for 19th jan!

If i remember rightly I had mine done all in the same day, just went to Newport in the morning and waited around til it was done in the afternoon. It was in 2005 though, not sure if its changed. Obviously costs more though.

think you can. I'm sure it's because i lost mine, so i had to go up for an interview to prove who i was, instead of posting old one with new photos.

I got a old passport but It run out 06-08! You reckon I could get one same day?

if you go to a large post office they will check the application and guarantee it back in a week, costs about £90

There is a few options available

if you can wait between 1-2 weeks just go through normal process but get the post office to check for a couple of extra pound and send guarenteed next day delivery

If you need sooner i think they offer a next day service and an on the day service where you need to book an appointment
both these options are quite expensive
