Anyone think Hudson has improved because of Malky?

Malky was a physical defender, he climbed well, put his body on the line and scored crucial headers for Norwich during his time there as pointed out in a video of our manager scoring in another thread. However, he scored some crucial goals for them just like our skipper has for us this season.

Anyone think the fact that we now have a manager who has not long left the game, a manager who will still have his playing days fresh in his mind has helped Hudson? Last season Hudson was improving no doubt but this season the guy has been immense.

I have not been down to the training ground but it would be interesting to hear what type of manager Malky is? Does he stay on the sidelines or does he get involved and get stuck in? Very interesting as Hudson this season has shown all the same traits as Malky in the days he was playing his best football.

DJ was allegedly a centre back (nobody seen him pay though???)

Hudson looks 10 x the player he was when DJ was in charge.

Dave Jones was a full back.

Hudson has definitely improved since Malky came here.

Two seasons ago he could be pretty erratic. He barely makes a mistake now.

Whatever may or may not have been lacking, whether it be concentration or
positioning, he's sorted it.

Yes he has improved under him quite a bit.

Disagree. As one of his biggest supporters since his time here hes been at this level for 3 seasons now imo.

Yeh I think he has improved and I think malky has prob definately helped, but is Hudson good enough to do a job in the premiership or not?

I felt the same also Marshall seems to be doing well ever since we had new goalkeeping coach, esp Heaton last season with the cup run.

Changing the backroom staff has had effect on the team aswell.
