How low must you be to beg people for a few pence around around a train station, hate fake beggers who are doing it as a con ! I genuinly feel sorry for those who are homeless through no fault of their own or just need a little help but for thos who do it as a con disgusting, any body else see this ? Was around the 2.15 mark outside central ?

I very very rarely give money to anyone other than a registered charity.
It's usually going on cheap vodka anyway.

In my eyes he's nothing more than a pest.
The final straw was when I was giving him 20 pence, he saw that I had a twenty quid in my wallet and asked if he could have one of them instead of the 20p, I closed my wallet and walked away and he had the cheek to beg for the 20 pence then. No time for those who refuse to help themselves.

He asked me the other day. I was sat in Coffee #1. He came over and gave the hostel speech. He then went on to say "a fiver will do". Cheeky b*stard. Someone then gave him a quid.. And get this.. He didn't say thank you! He said "Better than nothing" and walked away.

Obviously an addict so just walked away from him. Its very easy to tell the genuine ones from the scam artists. I usually report them if they are scammers. People shouldn't have to put up with it and old people especially, when a little crack head runs up to them off their head it can be quite intimidating.
