What he didn't realise was the basis of which we play in the "English League". We were invited when the league was structured.we have not applied to play in a foreign league.

And to make matters worse for himself,had it been put to a vote to allow them entry, most welsh clubs would've voted yes...

i was listening to charles green comments today on talk sport about kicking cardiff and swansea out of the pl league what charles green does not understand cardiff and swansea have been in the english for nearly hundred years he should look at the history and the reasons why our clubs are in the english league then he will understand then why glasgow rangers cant come in

He wants money and knows the SPL ain't going to get him a lot. The money Sky/ESPN would bring Rangers in the Premiership. If they are granted access to the English system the next thing he will cry about is that they should enter at Championship level minimum because of the clubs history and previous size, plus the league can make money from a full Ibrox. The guy is a shark that is hoping to send Rangers down the same path Hicks & Gillett did with Liverpool. Owners who will just tie loans against the club and then take all the real cash and tie it into their companies abroad.
