On the subject of sauce...

Is it a Welsh thing to put salad cream on your chips?
All my family do it, but 'locals' think we're odd.

Discuss...

DERBY County have dismissed as "nonsense" reports that they are in talks with Championship leaders Cardiff City over defender John Brayford.

Cardiff are said to be keen on the Rams' 24-year-old right-back.

They were linked with a £750,000 bid for him last week and now reports say manager Malky Mackay has been haggling over a fee and he is set to raise his offer to £1.25m.

Brayford arrived at Derby in 2010 in a joint deal with James Bailey worth around £800,000 plus add-ons.
Brayford signed a new contract in July 2011 which runs until June 2014.

True but nowhere official or even slightly trustworthy on things like this are either reporting this transfer or have even mentioned it as far as i can see . Derby have said they are not interested in selling there players and on the derby forums they are laughing at the price rumoured ( 750k) and saying we would have to offer around 2.5 mill to get him !
The only places its being mentioned are on fans forums who lets be honest are just guessing .
Clough has also said in a few interviews that derby do not need to sell in january to raise money for new players and he has a transfer budget to improve his allready impressive young squad .
Cant see this happening tbh :-|

Summer 2014.

His contract is up on the 30th June this year - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/john- ... 91286.html and in that case we will get him for a song £500,000 to £750,000 is about the right valuation I would say with just 5 1/2 months on his contract left :ayatollah:
