What will become of our favourite football forum

(I post this knowing that promotion is no way a certainty, I'm just speculating here)

What will become of our forum if we are promoted this season? Surely as the new fans / returning fans / wembley goers / plastic army, whatever you want to call them take an increased interest in Cardiff City and we are noticed more on the national and international stage it will have an effect? basically what I'm saying as a big increase in interest in the club is bound to have a major effect on an established forum such as ours.

I think we might need a couple more mods and perhaps a slightly sterner approach to moderating in order to allow the forum to naturally grow.

I've noticed lately they Annis and Carl have clamped down on name calling and pointless posts, In my opinion this has possibly been done with the above in mind.

Lets all 'play nice' for the remainder of the season, banter and a bit of tongue in cheek is absolutely fine, but if you feel the need to abuse people and post 'aggressively' in the future you may find yourself losing your already well established account.

I don't mean this thread to be taken as a warning as such, just as awareness that we as forum members have the chance for the site we love to grow and become successful, lets enjoy being part of it. This time next year we could be talking about these plastic forum members who have only just shown up 'where were you when we missed out in those cup finals'

On a serious note, are all mods friends of Annis'/Carl etc.. I mean, surely if you are wanting the above mentioned, then we should make well established, respected forum members mods, from all over who may not know the figure heads directly. If there already is, I apologise.

I had never meet Annis or Carl in my life when Annis asked me to be a mod, he just asked me if I was interested after a spell of good activity and half decent threads, since then I've introduced myself to Annis and Carl on Sloper road on route to a match, but that's about it, he does pick people he doesn't know personally is what I'm trying to say.

I'm all for it. What I will say is that the rules need to be applied to everyone across the board, with no exception.

Having a football and an off topic forum is something that may be considered.

I'd say that would be the way forward. A "Lounge" where more casual posting goes on & a football only forum.

First rule for Chuckles is making him moderator of the "Naughty step" forum where all wankers, Jacks and trolls can talk things over. It is your role to make sure everything runs smoothly over there.
