Pick one.
Alexander was a very good keeper, but Marshall all day for me!

both had their strong points but i would agree, i feel safer knowing marshalls in goals

Marshall by some distance.
I liked Alexander but I think people forget his performances and compare them more to the shower of shit we had after him.

Alexander was a great shotstopper but kicking from the floor was often iffy and flapped on crosses. He was best keeper we'd had for a while.
Marshall has had a great season so far, weighing in with some big saves. Crosses aren't his strongpoint either, but what keeper is good in that area?
Close one, but on this season's performance, Marshall for me.
What has helped is Malky making him number one - I don't think DJ ever fully decided if Marshall or Heaton was his best keeper.
Butland may go for millions but Marshall is up there with him.

Really, i thought his kicking from the floor was amongst the best out there.
I agree crosses werent his strong point though.

alexander was great in the lower leagues had his moments but in genural I dont think he could of ever entertained it as scotlands number 1 permanantly, even without the great craig gordon and neil sullivan.
I remember the chant ''scotlands number one'', I will never forget one week in the grange end it was being sang, then it went silent and some nut case started screaming, Scotlands number 5, scotlands, scotlands Number 5 , which he probably was at that point in his career

alexander, my all time favourate player alongsides kavs
he was a crowd person. took time out one day to stand and talk to me as a kid. took a picture with me.
he was such an agile keeper, and i think he had the potential to keep going and be a prem keeper sadly jones' mistreatment was bad enough.
alexander all day for me

Why did jones mishandle him?
He played nearly every game until towards the end when he looked at our back up keeper because Alexander was going and out of form anyway.
Maybe he should have bad a new deal but he was hardly mishandled.
