Brazil - Ronaldo, Ronaldhnio and Rivaldo would cause havoc for Barcas back four also if you look at the starting 11 most of the
Brazil side are better than Barca's e.g. Carlos & Cafu are better than there counterparts

With a team of Lucio, Roque Junior, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Kleberson, Gilberto Silva, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and Ronaldo, there can only be one answer.
I wish I was a few years older so I could have witnessed Ronaldo in his prime, Only seen videos of him but easily the best striker of all time. I've always supported Brazil from when I saw this team play.

And this thread seems very similar to my 'Messi vs Ronaldinho' thread ;)

The 2002 team wasnt that good. You guys are just going by names. The current Barca team would walk through them.

If you had said the Brazil of the late 70's, then that would be much closer. One of the greatest teams EVER.

barca. best team ive ever seen (altho ive only been watching since 92).

not one of their starting lineup wouldnt have been able to walk straight into any other team

The great milan team of the late 80s-early 90s may have something to say about that :ayatollah:

So you think Lucio and Roqye Junior are better than both Pique and Puyol? Gilberto and kleberson better than Xavi and Iniesta? The most key positions in the team.

Even Brazilians rate this team as shit lol

Judging by entertainment it would be Brazil, but judging by the better team, it would have to be Barcelona. I agree Brazil had better full backs than Barcelona's, but I personally think Pique is a much better centre back than Roque Junior, Puyol is one of the best centre backs in the world, Barcelona's centre midfield is untouchable and Messi in his prime is better than Ronaldo in his prime.

Barcelona every time. However the Brazilian team from the 70s would have beaten them.

Well it is because defensively they are probably the best team about. They close down from the front and have over 70% possession every game.

not really.

and its because their midfield dominate possession that the defense doesnt get the test it should.

valdes and puyol, for example are both vastly over-rated, as is pique to be fair, a player that couldnt get in man uniteds side, but goes to barca and only has to pass it 5 yards every week
