Dont understand why you would want Sordell over Austin ?

Austins goalscoring record, not just this season, but his whole career is nothing short of phenominal.

I do not think this has any legs, if he wanted Jerome whats the delay as there doesn't seem to be any other clubs interested in him.

Surely he would have tabled a bid for him by now if this had any truth to it. I hope I am wrong as Jerome will fire us to promotion in my opinion, strong, quick and can finish!

We have no idea how far down the alleged talk are.

For all we know they've had a bid accepted and they're just thrashing out contracts bonuses and his role in the team.

How do you know that Talks haven't started ?? Not everything is out in the public domain.A bit of patience required regarding signings.

I do take your point and in all honesty that could very well be going on and like I said I hope it is, it is just my opinion no fact or me claiming to know anything. I understand that signings do take time but we have been here before (last January) and ended up with no-one. Then a press release on the 1st Feb stating that we missed out on several players after bidding for them. I just hope that he gets his targets as it is vital that we strengthen as Hull and Leicester have already.

they signed some polish (?) striker for like 2m, scored in the fa cup. not sure if that was a january transfer, but havent heard of him before he scored last week

Close to signing fraser campbell as well by the looks of it,.

He has been with them ages and has already scored league goals this season for them. Not a new signing.
