Annis RE people with multiple usernames

Please can you put your foot down and give these posters a choice and make them pick one name and delete the others.
Its been getting worse for awhile and becoming really annoying and it's not doing the forum any good either..

Jinks I'm pretty sure Annis will answer your question but in the meantime I will answer.
The problem is with your request, although I totally agree with you, is that this forum has thousands of members and multiple usernames don't become apparent until they start to use them as it is very difficult to sieve through the members for multiple usernames and would take a hell of a long time.
Having saying that, Owain is trying to combat any future members that feel the need to have more than one user name, (which incidentally I can't understand for the life of me why people need to do that), by working out a system that alerts the administrator of a multiple user.
I think pretty much that is the answer that Annis will give you but I could be wrong

Can more than 1 account be setup on any email or is it one per email?
If it's the latter of the two then people seriously have to much time, if it's the first is there not a way which only 1 account per email address could be setup?

Maybe its becuse they are not seen to be attacking same person all the time if change names on regular basis! Rm was classic exsample it was only the manner of his post that you new it was him When his name changed.

Mmm could say that! But yes they do, unless mods do something just ignore them & carry on.

Agree with you totally, if its on a jack post fair enough, expect some abuse, but if someone is a poor speller (like me) or your debating among city fans a bit of respect should be shown, it often puts me off taking part in certain threads, when some key board warrior calls me something, I get angry,

Always tickles me that jinks. The ones who still write in the same style as there "main name" and have a dislike for the same people. Sometimes I cringe so hard I almost shit.
