It seems according to the Mirror, this is the reason he hasn't had much game time at Bolton,
They say
A young England soccer star has had his phone taken off him - to help beat his Twitter "obsession".
Marvin Sordell , 21 , has become hooked on the social networking site since his 3.2 million transfer to Bolton from Watford last season.
The under 21 striker has struggled to settle down in the northern town and manager Dougie Freedman admitted yesterday, "There have been small issues off the field with his tweeting".
"It could be bordering on an obsession with Twitter and Facebook and all the things that go on with these kids".
"We are now trying to work with Marvin - by taking his phone off him".
But Freedman dismissed rumours Sordell, who was part of the Team GB Olympic squad, would be leaving the championship club.He added "We have just got to get him settled down and help him with some of the off-the-field antics."
Could be the right time to get him at a good price as he obviously not settled there, plus could Malky be the right man to get the best out of him like he did at Watford
Personally I would like Malky to go and get him, young,pacey and scores goals

Price is important. It is easy to say get Austin for 8 million but can we afford to do that?
It could turn out to be money well spent to get Sordel although I worry about how professional he is if he cant leave his phone alone? I have this vision of what Bellamy would do if he caught him using it on the training ground and it aint pretty.

I don't think anyone has had the best out of him yet, but Malky could be the one if he's given regular playing time.
