Outrage

Mon Jan 07, 2013 10:57 pm

Read some of the comments tonight regarding Macca. He is an outstanding footballer and admired by both his peers and managers. Whilst I agree football is a matter of opinions some posts are just crazy. Have you played :ayatollah: football? Do you understand football? You might watch it but you don't understand it. Bollocks to the lot of you. Ashamed. End of rant.

I have my own opinion and that has never changed, I have never rated mcphail ever u can check as many of my posts as you want, been a great servant to the club a fantastic bloke and hopefully he'll stay on in some capacity but the facts are that he just isn't good enough at this level and in my opinion never has been, yes he can pass but sideways and backwards, fouls too much as he's a poor tackler and those poor tackles cost is numerous points over many seasons

Are you real? International and played Premiership football and when he joined us he was considered to be the best player in the Champoinship. Not good enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I said in so many words-thick.

So, people who don't agree with you are thick?

"When he joined us" that was a long time ago. He was once a great player of ours, but he can't get in the team and there's a reason for that.

It doesn't help that he plays in the area where I feel our squad is strongest.

Must agree with you here Chucks. At last someone with a sensible opinion. Still think at latter end of season when the pressure is on a great bench player to bring on and calm the nervess. :ayatollah:

He may get some games this season.
ATM I prefer him to mutch but that's being narrow minded maybe?

He won't get a new deal tho and I doubt any club will because of his health. He clearly has a good attitude though and will make a good coach in time maybe.

How do you call people thick for not agreeing with you, he played 10 internationals for Ireland over four years when he played well as a youn lad for Leeds, he left Leeds in 2004 to go to league one Barnsley at only 24 years of age I think that sums up how many teams were after him from premiership at that time??? Oh yes none do he dropped to league one, he then got promoted with Barnsley and signed for us in 2006 at age o 26 he played at a decent enough standard to help us stay up and push the team onwards but for me he never showed he was good enough for a championship side pushing for promotion that's my opinion and I'm entitled to it you arrogant little man
