Simple question Ronaldinho 2002-2006 or Lionel Messi for the last 2 or 3 years.
For me it's Ronaldinho, dribbled faster, free kicks were better, better from long range, skills were unreal. I'd rather him him in my side than Messi

Your pissed arent you......better dribbler?????
Mon Jan 07, 2013 9:28 pm

Messi by a country mile

Ronnie was great to watch but only for a couple of seasons he really was on his A game did he come close to Messi.

I would probably take Ronaldinho in his prime over Messi too. You're not on your own pal!

Thank God! Thought this was going to get embarrasing

Simply because growing up he was my childhood footballer. Not only that he had some unreal skills and free kicks. In his prime Ronaldinho was magical!
Messi is the world's best footballer, no doubt. Messi's game tends to be mostly about his close control, the ball sticks to his feet like glue!
I would simply choose Ronaldinho because imo I just think he had more flair than Messi.

So you would pick a player who can do some skills to a player who has scored the most goals in a year ever? Right...

It's not all about goals. Yes they may win you football matches but Ronaldinho was just unreal!

Ronaldinho was class but to much show boating to be a top top top player over time.
Real ronaldo at his best would give messi a run tho
Mon Jan 07, 2013 9:45 pm
Did you ever unlock the secret player on pro-evo 2006 called Ronaldonahli?? He was meant to be Ronaldinho and Rivaldo's cousin and a bit of a hybrid of the two. He was my favourite ever player ever.

Yeha best natural striker I ever watched

I would have Messi in my team every time but Ronnie at his very peak, which was 2 seasons id say, was mesmerising and I preffered watching his flair to Messis ruthless bursts.

Only problem with him I think was the media. Because he was so good he had cameras on him all day every day, went to his head a bit. He could have had a few more years if there wasn't too much hype.
My Uncle had a World Cup 2002 DVD, Him, Ronaldo and Rivlado were devastating up front

brazil where the only "total football team" during my childhool, amazing
Mon Jan 07, 2013 10:03 pm
I may be a little biased as he was my "footballing hero" growing up. I first started really watching football when he made his breakthrough and I remember watching my first International tournament and seeing Ron at the centre of it all. He was the picture of world football when I first started playing
Mon Jan 07, 2013 10:05 pm
This is all about opinions.
Depending if you love goals goals goals or someone who could do some great skills with the ball during a patch.
Ronaldinho for me. Remember watching ITV1 when Chelsea played Barca and in their shocking away kit he scored a gorgeous goal, unreal tekkerz.

Same with me and Maradona but still think Messi is the greatest of all time

Still thought it was a great goal.
Another player who I enjoyed watching when I was younger had to be Zidane.
