True, but you can have the best medical staff in the world and they wouldn't be able to heal this injury quicker than 6 months. It's impossible. And that would mean mid-April earliest, that's all i'm saying.![]()
As you say, i'm sure they know what they're doing and will leave his comeback until next season. I would put a lot of money on it. It would be risking his career otherwise.

No disrespect, but suffering the injury doesn't make you as qualified as them.
If they do let him return, it will because he's funny recovered - they would never let him otherwise.

Suffering the injury doesnt make me as qualified youre right, but i do know its limitations.
I'm not saying they shouldn't let him back earlier than 6 months, i'm saying they won't, and people shouldn't get their hopes up.

if they don't feel 100% certain that he'll be fine then i doubt they'll risk him! if they think he's 100% to start playing again then lets just trust them!

It gives you limited knowledge of your injury. The medical staff have a lot more information than you or I on his condition and will advice the club accordingly.

Once more, i havent said once the medical staff don't know what they're doing, i'm saying that because THEY DO know what theyre doing, they won't let him return before 6 months. So if anybody has been told that he could be back before mid-April then they've been mis-informed, because this 100% WILL NOT happen.
Only time will show that this is the case.

I'm saying that their knowledge will mean that NOBODY can come back from this injury quicker than 6 months, Maynard isn't super human, it's physically impossible, you dont have to be an expert to know that much, the info is freely available.

That would mean he's recovered in 5 months, so not gonna happen sadly.
Don't take my word for it, look up ANY information on the net regarding ACL injuries, a 5 month return is impossible to be successful.

You're right, although i'm sure that was only a partial tear, rather than a rupture, which is slightly less serious.
